As the sun fell on a dry Friday, July 6th, a fire broke out spurred by 30 mph winds in Goleta, California. All told, 10 homes and 13 structures were destroyed. Sol Workshop was asked to re-imagine a home with the same footprint and massing incorporating an ADU for future guests as well as rental opportunities.
